Your Name Written on My House in Japan
Become a part of an historic art project - Satoshi Manor.
As some of you know, my house in Japan is not only my home, but it is also a long term art project. I started out writing the story of the house and myself and how we converged on the kitchen cabinets. I turned the doors separating the kitchen from the bathroom and stairway into Tokyo subway doors, and the door opening into the entryway from the living room into a Tardis police box (Doctor Who). The toilet is a defacto American flag surrounded by four money walls - paper currency, coins, credit cards, and crypto. I’ve been writing the philosophy of Baoism on the kitchen doors and have also penned the Indignified Manifesto there. In the guest room, the inside of the closet door is a place for guests to leave their mark. I’ve also left the marks of the original inhabitants of the house here as they measured the growth of their children in the 1970s on a joist between the kitchen and bedroom. Satoshi Manor is more than a house, it is an important piece of art and I’m convinced it will be historic.
I’d like for you, the early subscribers of Indignified to be honored here as well. I want your names to be a part of this journey. I’ve reserved a place under the Indignified Manifesto for the first fifty subscribers to have their names listed as signers. So far, we have only twenty-one signers. If you have already subscribed, please reach out to me and let me know how you want your name to appear. The best place to reach me is in the Baoism Discord - come join the Indignified Channel .
